Baccalaureate is much more than a graduation ceremony. Based on 1 Samuel 7:12, which urges the Israelites to create an Ebenezer (a memorial of God’s goodness and faithfulness), we purposely choose to honor the students’ accomplishments as evidence of God’s workings in their lives. We want to build them up, recognize their abilities, and celebrate the future. All are welcome to attend the Baccalaureate ceremony. Graduates and their guests are then invited to stay for dinner.

Our respective pool parties are a celebration of a good year of youth group and Bible study. The High school pool party recognizes our seniors while welcoming any rising freshmen that want to attend. Our Middle School party recognizes our outgoing eighth graders while welcoming our incoming sixth graders.

While this page is a great resource for major JAARS Youth Group events, it’s not all-inclusive and may be slow to update. Please check the emails for the most up-to-date information, as well as information on smaller (but equally exciting) events!
