Friday night Middle School Youth is focused on MKs, and their friends, grades 6 through 8. MS Youth provides space, time and leadership for MK's and there friends to grow in godly fellowship and character while deepening their relationship with Christ.
The goal is to build a community of Godly fellowship and provide intentional opportunities for spiritual growth.
A typical night consists of a welcoming time, games, some student-led worship, and small group Bible study and prayer. There are about 18 middle school youth actively involved as well as incredible high school students who participate as assistant leaders. With their help as well as help from some experienced volunteers, Carolyn Thauer leads the middle school programming.
Tuesday night High School Youth is focused on MKs, and their friends, grades 9 through 12. Like the Middle School group, the goal is to provide godly fellowship and opportunities for spiritual growth. Over 20 students come to the Olive Branch each Tuesday evening to grow in Christ with others who have like experiences and who are likely to have shared understandings through those experiences.
We dig into the Bible through teaching and small group discussion. We pray together, and afterwards, we enjoy a game or some good conversation. If you’re a high school student, come join us! Tracy Tooley leads the high school programming.
